Acer Aspire Predator - Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz

This baby has a quad clock speed of 2.83 GHz which means that its processing power reaches up to 11GHz. The 64 bit processor itself has a L2 cache of 12MB. In other words its got one heck of processor. It comes with a motherboard thats supports up to 1333 MHZ of data bus speed and has an NVIDIA 780i SLI chipset. This means you can use more than one graphics card( it has 2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots for SLI VGA's) . The predator uses an NVIDIA 9800 GTX which has a base VGA memory of 512MB. The motherboard of this beast supports up to 8GB of RAM and it comes with........wait for it......8GB of DDR2 RAM already installed. When it comes to hard disk space we talking about 3 x 640 GB - standard-Serial ATA-300. So i guess at last there is a creature that can give Alienware a run for it's throne......ladies and gentlemen i present the PREDATOR.

price:
$2,509.99(its greatest disadvantage). Well, on the bright side you get a year warranty. So if you happen to blow it up within the year you can return and get a new one.....i think.

Product description from manufacturer:

The Predator gaming PC from Acer offers extraordinary performance within an expressive, robotic-like exterior. The supporting arms of the front cover and claw-like optical drive doors give an aggressive, combat feel to the Predator, suggestive of a giant robot. Opening the cover reveals the inner power, with highly dynamic mechanisms and sophisticated lighting effects that are a visual delight for tech-savvy gamers. But the Predator was also designed with practicality in mind. The tool-less, hot-swappable hard-drive slots simplify expansion, while gaming peripherals can be connected with ease because the USB ports, audio jacks and card reader are located at the front.
